Alabama Forest Owners' Association - The mission of the association is to be the Advocate for the Forest Owner and to keep its members well informed on all things related to forest ownership. Anyone who owns forestland, who struggles with the problems and enjoys the benefits of owning forestland, is a potential member.

American Association of Woodturners (AAW) is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of woodturning. Our mission is to provide education, information, and organization to those interested in turning wood.

American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) AF&PA is the national trade association of the forest, paper and wood products industry. We represent member companies engaged in growing, harvesting and processing wood and wood fiber, manufacturing pulp, paper and paperboard products form both virgin and recycled fiber, and producing engineered and traditional wood products.

American Forest Resource Council - AFRC membership is made up of manufacturers and companies that work directly in or represent the forest products industry.

American Institute of Timber Construction (AITC) Representing the glued laminated timber industry since 1952, AITC provides technical support to manufacturers and design community, and third party quality control to manufacturing plants.

American National Standards Institute (ANSI) ANSI is a private, non-profit organization (501(c)3) that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system. The Institute's mission is to enhance both the global competitiveness of U.S. business and the U.S. quality of life by promoting and facilitating voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessment systems, and safeguarding their integrity.

American Wood Council (AWC) is the wood products division of the American Forest & Paper Association. AWC's mission is to increase the use of wood by assuring the broad regulatory acceptance of wood products, developing design tools and guidelines for wood construction, and influencing the development of public policies affecting the use of wood products.

APA - The Engineered Wood Association is a nonprofit trade association representing softwood plywood, oriented strand board, glulam timber, wood I-joist, laminated veneer lumber, and other engineered wood product manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1933, APA's primary functions are quality auditing and testing, applied research, and market support and development. Associated California Loggers is, as you might suspect, an association of loggers in California. We started in 1973, when forestry regulation in California was "coming of age".

Associated Oregon Loggers, Inc. is a trade association, founded in 1969, to provide business services to contract logging firms and related businesses. We are the largest loggers association (in members) in the USA!

The Black Hills Forest Resource Association is a trade association of forest products manufacturers, forestry and timber harvest professionals, and concerned citizens in the Black Hills region of South Dakota and Wyoming. Empire State Forest Products Association - NGO representing forest landowners and forest industry in New York State. The Empire State Forest Products Association is committed to promoting the management of New York's forests to meet society's needs for forest products today and in the future, while conserving air, water and soil quality and wildlife habitat. The Association also works to improve New York's business climate through interaction with the state's Congressional delegation, state legislators, regulators and local officials. Founded in 1906, ESFPA counts among its 420 members furniture companies, lumber manufacturers, forest landowners, timber harvesters, pulp and paper companies, and other wood product manufacturers from across New York state.

Forest and Woodland Association of Missouri - The Association is in its infancy, but is working hard to develop resources for landowners to reach their woodland goals.

Forest Landowners Association - Thousands of independent forest landowners throughout the United States compose the membership of the Forest Landowners Association. Formed in 1941 to provide a voice for forest landowners on national and regional issues, the Forest Landowners Association follows every piece of legislation appearing before Congress that affects forest landowners and their property.

Forest Products Society is an international not-for-profit technical association founded in 1947 to provide an information network for all segments of the forest products industry. The Society's Mission is to foster innovation and research in the environmentally sound processing and use of wood and fiber resources by disseminating information and providing forums for networking and the exchange of knowledge.

Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association - represents the forest products industry in Michigan and Wisconsin by supplying member services to large and small businesses, professional loggers, professional landowners, haulers, truckers and training specialists.

Intermountain Forest Association (IFIA) is an organization of wood product manufacturers, timberland owners and related businesses in the northern rockies. The Association develops and implements solution-oriented policies aimed at securing a stable and sustainable supply of timber on public and private lands.

Founded in 1974, the International Log Builders' Association is a worldwide organization dedicated to furthering the craft of handcrafted log building, to the advancement of log builders, and to the promotion of the highest standards of their trade. The association writes and distributes educational materials on log construction to individuals, institutions, and industry. In addition, the association provides educational services related to the craft of log building, develop and disseminate educational material and programs related to the craft, establish operating trust funds for scholarships and educational purposes. .

International Wood Products Association (IWPA) is the only association in the United States committed to the promotion and enhancement of trade in the imported wood products industry. On this site you can search the database for specific wood products or services; sign up for IWPA's annual convention, World of Wood; order publications; post trade leads; or become an IWPA member.

Maryland Christmas Tree Association (MCTA) is an association of growers and retailers that have a common interest in promoting the Christmas Tree Industry. The main species of Christmas Trees to choose from in Maryland are Scotch Pine, White Pine, Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir and FrasierFir.

Michigan Association of Timbermen is a non-profit trade association, representing the forest products industry of Michigan. Founded in 1972, MAT has provided effective representation of Michigan's forestry community, including those who grow, harvest and process forest products.

Montana Tree Farm System Our Program Is part of the American Tree Farm System and is a nationwide community of nearly 70,000 landowners linked by a desire to manage their woodlands effectively. Effective management means producing a sustainable supply of trees to meet our nation’s wood products needs while also maintaining forests which are healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and beneficial to wildlife.

Montana Logging Association (MLA) was incorporated in 1976 as a non-profit organization to provide a united voice for the family-owned businesses that harvest and transport logs from forest to mill in Montana. Today, the MLA has in excess of 600 members who individually and collectively strive to promote and advance the logging profession.

National Hardwood Lumber Association is a non-profit trade association headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, made up of over 1,700 member firms who produce, sell and use hardwood lumber. Founded in 1898 for the purpose of setting up a uniform system of grading rules for the measurement and inspection of hardwood, the Association presently has many other functions.

North American Wholesale Lumber Association (NAWLA)The North American Wholesale Lumber Association is an international trade association of over 650 leading forest and building products industry wholesalers, manufacturers and industry affiliated companies throughout the United States and Canada. NAWLA is dedicated to enhancing professionalism, to maintaining the integrity of lumber distribution and to the responsible use of forest resources.

Northeastern Loggers' Association is a regional trade group representing more than 2,000 members of the Northeast and Lake States' logging, sawmilling, and forest products community. For over fifty years the association has published a highly respected monthly magazine that focuses exclusively on our region - The Northern Logger and Timber Processor.

Oregon Forest Industries Council (OFIC) is a trade association representing more than 50 Oregon forestland owners and forest products manufacturing-related firms. Its members own more than 90% of Oregon's industrial forestland base.

Society of Wood Science and Technology - SWST is a technological and professional organization for scientists and engineers working in academia, government, consulting, and the forest products industries. We are dedicated to providing education and expertise in finding better ways to use and produce wood products

Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) SFPA was founded in 1915 and is one of the oldest nonprofit trade associations in the forest products industry. SFPA represents Southern Pine lumber manufacturers from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Members of SFPA produce about 55% of the Southern Pine lumber in the United States, enough to build more than a million new homes a year. The association has active, affiliate, and associate members. SFPA's office is located in suburban New Orleans, with marketing operations serving the entire United States. International market consultants are stationed in Europe, Mexico, and Japan.

Southern Lumber Exporters Association (SLEA) The Southern Lumber Exporters Association (SLEA) is an association comprised of independent businesses involved in the export of lumber species from the Southern United States. Our members export Southern Pine Lumber and hardwoods to destinations worldwide. Most members specialize in Southern Pine Lumber.

Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association has developed into a well-rounded association representing independent lumber manufacturers throughout the southeast. SLMA has grown to 17 states with the continued goal of helping perpetuate family-owned businesses - businesses that are the essence of many communities throughout the southeast.

Southern Pine Council is a joint promotional body coordinated and supported by manufacturers of Southern Pine lumber. These manufacturers are members of the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) and Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (SLMA).

Western Red Cedar Lumber Association - The Western Red Cedar Lumber Association is a Vancouver based non-profit association representing 23 quality producers of Western Red Cedar lumber products in Washington, Oregon, Idaho (US) and British Columbia (Canada). Founded in 1954 and known as "the voice of the cedar industry"-the WRCLA operates customer service programs throughout the United States and Canada to support its members' cedar products with information, education and quality standards.

Western Wood Products Association - Western Wood Products Association is a trade association representing softwood lumber manufacturers in the 12 Western states, from the Canadian border south to Mexico and from the West Coast to the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Association also provides services in Alaska. Supported by Western lumber manufacturers, WWPA delivers services to sawmills as well as those who use softwood lumber products throughout the world.
