Consulting
Foresters Association of Vermont Committed to promoting and strengthening the long-term conservation
and management of Vermont's natural resources. Consulting Foresters assist
private landowners in identifying and achieving goals for their woodlands such
as managing forest products, wildlife habitat, recreation, water resources and
aesthetics.
Ecological Society of America is a nonpartisan,
nonprofit organization of scientists founded in 1915 to promote ecological
science by improving communication among ecologists; raise the public's level
of awareness of the importance of ecological science; increase the resources
available for the conduct of ecological science; and ensure the appropriate use
of ecological science in environmental decision making by enhancing
communication between the ecological community and policy-makers. Ecology is
the scientific discipline that is concerned with the relationships between
organisms and their past, present, and future environments.
Florida Forestry Association is
Florida's only statewide conservation organization uniquely positioned to bring
together those who grow and those who use Florida's forests. Our mission is to
promote the responsible use of Florida's forest resource.
Forest Products Society - The
Forest Products Society is an international not-for-profit technical
association founded in 1947 to provide an information network for all segments
of the forest products industry.
Georgia Forestry Association - The Georgia Forestry Association,
one of the oldest conservation organizations in the United States, was founded
in 1907. At that time, tree farming was a family tradition. Land was passed
from generation to generation and with it, a love of the land that became our
heritage. Through the years, GFA has worked with landowners in protecting their
property rights and adopting sound land management practices to ensure that our
forests continue to provide clean air, clean water, soil conservation, wildlife
habitat, recreation and products that we all use everyday.

International Society of
Arboriculture has served the tree care
industry for over seventy years as a scientific and educational organization.
ISA was founded in 1924 when a group of forty individuals, each engaged in a
phase of tree work or research, were called together by the Connecticut Tree
Protection Examining Board to discuss shade tree problems and their possible
solutions.
Kentucky-Tennessee Society of American
Foresters - With a membership of over 400, the Kentucky-Tennessee Society
is one of 33 State/Multi-State Societies representing the nearly 18,000 member
Society of American Foresters. Our organizational structure includes a
Chairman, Chair-elect, Treasurer, and Secretary which, along with 7 additional
members, comprise the core of an Executive Committee for our Society. Within
the two states we have 6 regional chapters and 3 student chapters, each with
their own set of officers and committees. Currently, the K-T SAF has 14
committees that focus a variety of subject areas.
Louisiana Forestry Association
was formed in 1947 to foster the practice of
forestry, to rebuild the state's cut-over lands, and to build a healthy forest
industry. The Louisiana Forestry Association today is a statewide, private,

Maryland Forests Association

Massachusetts
Association of Professional Foresters
is dedicated to the improvement of the practice of forestry in the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts. Membership is open to professional foresters with formal
forestry education and experience in the practice of forestry in Massachusetts.
Michigan Forest Association - Landowners, professionals and other interested people working to
promote education and wise management and use of our forests- since 1972
Minnesota Association of Consulting Foresters - Professional

Mississippi Forestry
Association was organized in 1938 as a
private non-profit organization representing a broad range of members such as
timberland owners, professional foresters, loggers, forest product companies,
wood suppliers and vendors who serve our industry.
National Arborist
Association Official site of the
National Arborist Association (NAA), the leading trade association for
commercial tree service companies. The NAA publishes Tree Care Industry (TCI)
Magazine and hosts TCI EXPO. Our mission is to support the commercial arborist
and promote the tree care profession. Established in 1938, the NAA is a trade
association of over 2700 commercial tree care firms and affiliated companies.
NAA develops safety and education programs, standards of tree care practice,
and management information for arboriculture firms around the world. We provide
continuing education, training, conferences and publications to promote the
safe and appropriate practice of tree care.
National
Association of Professional Forestry Schools and Colleges - Founded in 1981
and is composed of 67 organizations and represents university faculty,
scientists and forestry specialists working to enhance and protect our forests.
National
Association of States Foresters is a
non-profit organization that represents the directors of the State Forestry
agencies from all fifty states, eight U.S. territories (American Samoa, the
Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, the Northern Marianas Islands, Palau,
Puerto Rico, Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands),
and the District of Columbia.
National Community Forestry Center -
Northern Forest Region serves the States
of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Central & Northeastern New York. Our
core purpose is to help rural people conduct and use research to inform
decision making about forest resources. Our goal is to add value to the work of
communities, organizations, and institutions in our regions who share a vision
of healthy communities and healthy forests.

North Carolina Board of
Registration for Foresters - Created to benefit and protect the public by
improving the standards of the practice of professional forestry in North
Carolina.
North Carolina Chapter of the Association of
Consulting Foresters of America, Inc. The ACF, which was established in 1948, is the only national
organization for consulting foresters. Our mission is to advance the practice
of professional consulting forestry, to establish and maintain high ethical
standards for our members, to improve the competency of and provide a forum for
our members, and to promote and encourage stewardship of the forest resource.

Rhode Island Forest Conservator's Organization
- RIFCO is Rhode Island's forest landowner
association, and is dedicated to the protection and wise use of RI's woodland

Society for Conservation Biology is an
international professional organization dedicated to promoting the scientific
study of the phenomena that affect the maintenance, loss, and restoration of
biological diversity. The Society's membership comprises a wide range of people
interested in the conservation and study of biological diversity: resource
managers, educators, government and private conservation workers, and students
make up the more than 10,000 members world-wide.
Society of
Municipal Arborists Founded in 1964, the
SMA is an organization of municipal arborists and urban foresters. Our
membership also includes consultants, commercial firms and citizens who
actively practice or support some facet of municipal forestry.
Society for Range Management is the
professional scientific society and conservation organization whose members are
concerned with studying, conserving, managing and sustaining the varied
resources of the rangelands which comprise nearly half the land in the world.

West Virginia Forestry Association - is a
non-profit 501(c)3 organization that is supported by nearly 1000 members. WVFA
works to promote the State's entire forest industry - landowners, loggers,
sawmill operators, wood manufacturers, and others, through a variety of
educational programs and events.
Western Forest Genetics Association is
an association of professionals, researchers, and students involved in forest
genetics issues in the western US and Canada. Meetings are rotated throughout
the region, and are often held jointly with other organizations.
The
Wildlife Society , founded in 1937, is an international non-profit
scientific and educational association dedicated to excellence in wildlife
stewardship through science and education. Our mission is to enhance the
ability of wildlife professionals to conserve diversity, sustain productivity,
